Eric Howard is a New York-based Chef and Food Consultant who has turned his passion for cooking into a successful career working with restaurants, events, and food festivals in NYC and around the country.  


Most notably Eric appeared on Season 7 of Master Chef with Gordan Ramsey, making it to the elite Top 8.  He has just wrapped up The Ultimate Thanksgiving Challenge on Food Network, as a top 3 finalist. Hosted by Giada De Laurentiis, and judged by Alex Guarnaschelli, Christian Petroni, and Carla Hall.  


Eric's career has taken off and he has appeared in local news channels, participated in charity events, and has been highlighted in publications, such as Rachel Ray Magazine and Family Circle Magazine. 


Eric's personal life is a reflection of his love for cooking and helping others. He is a third-generation New York City Firefighter, based in Midtown Manhattan. Eric is also a partner and consultant with Gramercy Ale House, located in Gramercy, NYC and is a staple local restaurant and bar. In the next few years, Eric plans to open a modern American restaurant with Italian influences, as well as write a book focused on food, florals, and events with his beautiful wife Olivia Howard, owner of Olivia Howard Floral Design Studios.
